Humble beginnings
The story of Woodland Hills Forge began with a desire to craft knives. After a year of learning the craft, and realizing the potential of an anvil, I transitioned toward becoming a more well-rounded blacksmith. Living in this beautiful state of West Virginia, I've always been drawn to the outdoors and inspired by the old ways. This state's history of ruggedness and hard work is reflected in my tools. My love for rustic aesthetics and traditional methods further fuels my creations. Over the course of a few years I went from a 8x10 shed to a legitimate shop where I now not only have room to forge my orders, but to also teach and share what I've learned.

Forging process
At Woodland Hills Forge, my tools are crafted using only a hammer and anvil. Each piece is hot cut to length, and then forged without measuring, ensuring that every product is even more unique.

Values
At Woodland Hills Forge, quality craftsmanship and attention to detail is the main focus. I strive to create tools that reflect this, and are gratified when customers recognize the superior quality and unique details that mass production cannot replicate.

Future vision
My vision for Woodland Hills Forge is to grow it into a full-time career. Currently, I balance forging with a 12-hour rotating shift. My dream is to teach my son the craft and rename the forge to Woodland Hills Forge and Son!
